greetings from Johannesburg, South Africa
Hi,
This is my first journey into all of this & it feels weird. Anyway, allow me to introduce myself. The name: Kojo. I am an aspiring poet based in Johannesburg, South Africa, looking to expand my poetry and my mind through interaction with like-minded people. I have been involved in the poetry scene here for the last year and I am looking to help link us into the global arena. The primary obstacle we have here is that we are behind on trends and developments. Just last week, I read about Eduardo Kac and was pleasantly surprised to see the expansion of poetry beyond tradition. It is this knowledge that I believe will help me, and poets in South Africa, truly become creative, open-minded and relevant to our surroundings and the world.
I look forward to challenging and enlightening conversation.
