The e-poets network presents a full evening of poetry in cinema. See the landmark poetic film Viridian, based on the writing of Illinois poet Paul Hoover, directed by Joseph Ramirez. Follow that with a lively forum on the interactions of poetry and motion pictures with top presenters and working artists from Chicago and Vancouver.

Our evening wraps up, but not without some flourishes, with an international poetry video screening that includes a wide range of styles and language. There'll also be a special Chicago premiere of I'm Sorry I was Right, the award-winning documenatary on US Senator Eugene McCarthy, the last man standing from the turbulent 1968 presidential elections. See his life as statesman, and as a poet.
